When you want a stranger to pose for you.

When want to take a picture of one or more strangers, make sure and ask them if it is ok with them for you to take their picture. If they don't mind then you can often get them to make some very nice poses for you, which will result in some great pictures, but if you don't do this you could have all kinds of troubles now and later.

Of course there will be times when you see a great shot allready ready to be taken and you just have to take it and then try to get in touch with everyone in the shot later, if possible. All you can do is try your best and if you can't contact everyone and someone later sees the picture somewhere just tell them sorry and take it down right away, if that is what the want. You could even offer to send them a blown up copy of the picture.
