photography posing - relax the models

All photography posing or poses should appear natural and
graceful even though they sometimes may be difficult for the
model to perform. The most important thing is the finished
product. The first thing to do is try to get the model to relax,
which isn't always easy, but it's important for getting them
to look natural.

Photography Posing - more kid stuff

Another way to get kids attention is with toys. Go to a cheapDollar Store
and get a few stuffed animals. If the animals make noise, that would be
even better.

double exposures

If you want to create a double exposure as you are taking a picture,
you can use the filter cover part of the lens and take a snapshot and
then remove the cover, place it over the other part of the lens and take
another shot. Sometimes two images, or more, are exposed to a single
frame of film. which will create a “multiple exposure.”

photography posing - sitting poses

You shouldn't begin a sitting type session by posing the subject
first. Instead you should do a short evaluation of just the face
at first, and plan from there. After deciding which views of
the person's face we will use, we can pose the the person in
a way that supports this view.

Photagraphy Posing - Children

It's much more difficult to pose children than adults, because
they either don't understand what you tell them to do, or they
quickly get destracted or upset, not allowing you time to get
things set up. It is much better to have someone working
with you, to help keep the children happy while you are
getting things ready, and to help in getting them to look
in a certain direction or a certain way while you are
taking the pictures

photography posing - location

As always, location is very important. If the place
you take your photos has a boring background, it
can take away from the photo's character. To deal
with this you should have several simple backgrouds
available, which will allow the model(s) to stand out
much more.

Spontanious Only

The person you are shooting will have to make some
kind of a pose, but you have to somehow make it look
as spontanious as possible.

Even though there is a plan, it must look spontanious
and natural if the photo is going to look great and professional.

Your poser may not be trained and therefore you have
to learn how to create an atmosphere or situation that
brings out natural expressions.

Photography Posing

Getting photography posing right is essensial for
producing
professional photos every time.

A Picture that involves Posing the human body is
one of the
hardest to take. You have to come up with
ideas that fit the
mood or the surroundings and that
is not an easy task.

How do you keep your subject from looking strange or
unnatural? Another difficult task is getting your ideas
accross to the one who is posing.

It is helpful to use posing cards, but you are limited by
the number of cards you have for any particular
situation.

There are many books out there on posing that waste
your time with details of depth of field and lots of other
advise that you don`t need.

If you really want to get a professional shot every time,
I have found no better advice than you can get HERE

Again, I can not stress it enough:

Getting photography posing right is essensial for
producing
professional photos every time and
THIS is the best guide, by far, that I have been
able to find the valuable information.l
